10 Spooktacular Audi Paint Jobs

Audi vehicles are some of the best looking vehicles on the road. In fact, Audis can't make themselves ugly. Only their owners can. And some of them have.

The Molting TT

Nobody would ever accuse the Audi TT synonymous of being the snake, but perhaps the owner of this TT sports coupe prefers slithering around the roads waiting to pounce on unsuspecting BMWs. But, come to think about it, this 2.0 TDI quattro can go from zero to 62.1 mph in 7.5 seconds and it will go on to reach a top speed of140.4 mph. Not a bad striking distance even if the paint is unseemly.

Camo A4 Avant

It's a real jungle out there, and what better way to navigate said jungle than by outfitting your A4 Avant with the tactical coverage to make it from day to day. While that particular scenario is highly unlikely, there really is no rational need to put the wrap on the car. It's all a bit much in my opinion.

Holographic R8

This mid-engine, 2-seater designed developed and manufactured by Audi Sport GmbH has been in production since 2006 but it's doubtful that the holographic appearance of this one was ever considered a color option, and for good reason. Although the artwork is stunning, the final effect takes a body that is already a work of art into the land of overkill, where all good things definitely come to an end. This one captures all colors of the rainbow, but some colors were not meant to be captured on a car... at least not on this classy act of a vehicle.

Cancer Rust A4

The whole trend of rusted and worn wraps on new cars is a bit silly to me. I know you want that edgy post-apocalyptic look that gives your car some serious street cred, but this is just downright silly. Although, if you are dressing your Audi up as a vehicular zombie, then throw some red on the wrap for blood and I'd say you have some great Halloween wheels!

Color changing plasti-dip

Neochrome is generally used for coating and finishing automotive parts such as rims, intake manifolds, and even on occasion emblem overlays. I doubt this color changing plasti-dip was ever intended to be used across the car's entire body. While the overall execution is excellent, this car feels like it wasn't sure what color it wanted to be so it dipped itself into every Easter egg dye color on the table. If somebody hid it for an Easter egg hunt, I'm not sure I'd want to be the one who finds it.

Jurassic Park S4

Life always finds a way, at least according to Ian Malcolm's chaos theory in the film Jurassic Park. This owner took it upon himself to find a way to pay homage to the film by way of painting his beleaguered S4 in the same scheme that is adorned on the film's park vehicles.  It might have been a good look on the 1992 Ford Explorer XLT, but it just looks downright silly on an Audi.

Leopard Print R8

When you are young and happen to have too much money, there are many things you can do that probably won't seem like such a good idea later on in life. One of those things is taking your prized R8 and wrapping it in leopard so everyone can know how special and unique your car is. This shining example of hindsight always being 20/20 was owned by Justin Bieber.

Bubbly S4

Are you sweet and bubbly? Do people often give you the evil eye before noon because you are a sparkling ray of sunshine? This wrap may just be what the doctor ordered to warn others of how they are about to enter the proximity of someone clearly doing an Anakin Skywalker impression by repressing their feelings of anger and uncertainty. Take it from us: when you have a new Audi, just let it be beautiful the way the factory intended it to be.

Only a Car a Dentist Could Love

OK, so this one is not an Audi, but it was worth sharing none the less. As if Mazda wasn't already producing cars in need of some serious cosmetic improvements, this one felt the need to show us its teeth, and even though these bright whites look like they've  looked like they've had some serious dental work, I doubt we are looking at a smile. Morely it's pained grimace. Like, please let me out of here so I can climb into an Audi.
