1. Virtual Cockpit
Everything that is in front of the driver, is now available in a digital display where you are used to seeing the traditional speedometer, gas gauge and more. Now drivers can get everything from the tachometer to a live GPS map showing the terrain and obstructions and many other bits of information crucial to a safer, more informed driving experience.

2. Audi Connect
With our increasing need to be connected to all things social media, technology and more, Audi has created a mobile WiFi hotspot that lives in the cabin of your luxurious vehicle. Owners can connect up to 8 WiFi devices and enjoy streaming music, media and more.

3. Lighting technology
The days of Halogen lamps are truly a thing of the past. But even HID's and LED's are at their pinnacle with what Audi has implemented. One of the drawbacks of conventional HID's were the extreme glare caused by drivers. Because of the "cone" style light output, this is no longer a problem and drivers can be assured the lighting is now safer and even better than before. The Audi R8 features "laser high-beam spotlights" that extend several hundred feet past your standard LED headlights.

4. E-tron
As times goes on, the gasoline engine is quickly becoming a thing of the past. There are plenty of "hybrid" cars on the road, but none like the Audi E-tron. It was designed on only one of their platforms (the A3) and currently only available in Europe. The technology behind this innovation involves the ability for the driver to choose to run on only the electric motor, only the combustion motor or both! The compromise doesn't take away from the sporty feel of the driving experience and that is a true plus.

5. Park assist
Learning the art of the parallel park maneuver can be hard. Thankfully, Audi has taken a huge leap toward the autonomous future of automotive technology with their Park assist feature. It allows drivers to pull up to their desired parking spot and allow the car to "park itself". The system uses ultrasound, acoustic and optical signals all paired with a rearview camera for guidance.
