1. Hybrid Q8

In recent years, SUV's have gained a lot pf popularity over similarly sized sedan counterparts. This new Q8 is essentially a Q7, but with combined elements from the H-Tron and E-Tron concepts. This SUV is being offered as a plug-in hybrid, with a gas powered 3.0 V6 TFSI motor pushing 333hp, plus a 100kW (134hp) electric motor, mated to the eight-speed transmission. That results in a a combined 442hp and 516ft-lb of torque when their curves overlap. A 17.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack powers the electric side, with estimated figures of 102.3 mpge and an all-electric range of 37.3 miles.

2. Q7 E-tron

This plug-in diesel hybrid SUV is setting out to prove that VW/Audi can win their customers back through advanced automotive technology and innovation. With the diesels engines superiour efficiency, you can get 800 miles to its nearly 20 gallon tank, while the battery pack offers an "electric only" range of 34 miles. While the hybrid diesel SUV can't be compared to the powerful SQ7 sport model, the V6 with the added boost of the electric hybrid system is capable of putting out a solid acceleration from nearly zero rpm. Operators can also put the battery in "hold" mode to save the power reserves for when they get to a city center, or other location that restricts engine usage.

3. A3 Sportback E-tron

Hatchbacks are always a crowd favorite because they're compact, nimble and practical. Their shape is also well suited to good fuel efficiency and turn it into a hybrid such as the A3 Sportback E-Tron, it only gets better. The little hatch that could blows away the competition with an EPA-rated 83–86 MPGe. Talk about fuel efficiency! So, you get everything the normal A3 Sportback gives you such as ample cargo room, 6-speed S-tronic transmission, regenerative 4 wheel disc brakes, and a sweet handling chassis, plus the added bonus of fuel efficiency while keeping our beautiful planet green.

4. Hybrid Q5

This has got to be one of the better SUV's Audi has ever turned out. This luxury crossover pushes out a solid 245hp with 345 ft lb of torque with the combine diesel and electric power! The TDI engine brings 240 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque, while the hybrid portion sports a 54-hp electric motor powered by lithium-ion batteries. Sure, that is down 100 hp compared to the enthusiast focused Audi SQ5 version, with a 354-hp version of the 3.0-liter supercharged V6, but it actually has 80 more lb-ft of torque. All Q5's feature the multifunction steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, and newly optional is an adaptive suspension. Lastly, who can deny the magnificence of the Bang & Olufsen sound system?

5. H-Tron concept

This crossover SUV has out done them all with hydrogen as the energy source and a purely electric fuel cell. This produces a whopping 110kw of power, and the hydrogen tanks yield an amazing range of 372 miles! The voltage from the fuel cell and high-voltage battery drives two electric motors, one at the front and one at the rear, with 405 lb-ft of torque. The Audi h-tron quattro concept accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in less than 7 seconds, and has a top speed of 124 mph. Talk about fast and efficient! The biggest takeaway from this innovation is zero emissions. Literally, zero emissions globally, as long as the hydrogen being made comes from renewable energy sources. From OLED (yes, organic LED's) to a solar roof panel, there isn't a feature available that doesn't benefit the environment.
