1. Secret Stash

We all have secrets, but Audi may have one of the biggest of them all; “The Secret Stash”. While the name itself should already say it, this "stash" is said to house some of the most rarest Audis to have ever graced this world. In fact, the notoriously rare Audi Group S monster, simply dubbed "The Group S Prototype" lives here. It's the only one left in the entire world and has a parking spot in this building.

Till this day, the secret stash has been closed to the general public, and only a select few have been able to see inside.

2. Entrance Procedure

You simply can’t have a secret stash without a special entrance procedure. Entering the secret stash can seem like something of a bother to us common folk. With what seems like Fort Knox level security, the first thing you have to do is use an American stylized phone booth to contact the doorman. If you are supposed to be there, the doorman will buzz you in–through three plated and seemingly bulletproof doors. Once you are inside, you will be directed to where you can and cannot go.

3. The Unassuming Facility

The exact location of the building itself is only known to those that are lucky enough to be invited. There is no address, or anything notable leading to its location. However, we do know some things about its overall location. First, it is relatively near the popular Audi Museum, and perhaps on the same campus. Second, the building itself does not stand out as anything special. With there being lots of one-way windows, solid front doors and no signs the actual building is completely unassuming. Basically, the German Firm wants to keep all this on the hush hush. Even with this information, I'm sure they'll have decoys here or there to throw someone nosey off the scent. By the way, using a modest, or sometimes even rundown buildings for important storage seems to be a trend Audi enjoys to employ.

4. Audi Tradition

The official name of the Secret Stash is the "Audi Tradition" and it serves one purpose, to preserve Audi’s heritage. This unassuming building has multiple floors, all of which are stocked walled to wall with old racing equipment, tires and cars. There are apparently over 600 of the most rare and influential pieces of Audi's legacy. Cars can be seen from all sorts of different eras, such as pristine Sport Quattros, Audi 75s and the Wanderer W-25 Streamliner. All the cars are meticulously taken care of and look as if they’ve rolled right out of a dealership showroom.

5. Treasure Hunters

You may be wondering where exactly all of these classic Audis come from and the answer is actually everywhere. Audi uses its massive network of employees to scour the world looking for some of the finest and mintiest pieces of their 100-year old motorsport legacy. These cars are hand picked from around the world and if you happen to have such as vehicle don’t go looking for one of these guys, as they’ll be the ones contacting you.
