Attractive pricing

Just in time for the availability of the e-tron SUV at dealerships, Audi is throwing in a nice discount for the models. What are prospective buyers in for? The biggest incentive to go electric is a 1.9% financing on the SUV for up to 66 months. This puts the EV at a very desirable price point as compared to other Audi models.

It is tempting

For the sake of comparison, if one were to walk into a dealership looking for a traditional gas-powered Q5, they would only qualify for a 3.99% annual percentage rate for that same 5.5-year period. Now, for an extra cherry on top, if you currently own an Audi from 2009 or newer, you will receive a $750 loyalty perk when switching to the e-tron. To qualify, you'll just have to show proof that you or someone in your household owns the Audi in question.

Another note to sway you

If you're looking to lease the electric SUV, then you'll benefit from a $7,500 bonus which directly corresponds to the full EV federal tax credit. Also, if you happen to be comparing a Tesla to Audi, then know that you'd only be getting $3,750.

Looks plenty cozy

The e-tron SUV has an MSRP of $75,795 including a destination charge. Between charges, the SUV is capable of 204 miles of range and has a quicker charging time than any of the present Tesla's models. That ability is due to the capability to handle 150 kilowatts which would charge the e-tron up to 80% of range in around 20 minutes. However, at this point in time, there are still only a few public fast chargers available.

We will just have to see

If you are still wondering what else is out there on the horizon, there is the Model Y Tesla that will reportedly be capable of up to 300 miles of range. The Model Y will look to launch at or around $49,200 but won't be available until early 2021.
