Throwback from the 80's

Audi has chosen the 2017 SEMA show to debut its new aftermarket program as well as two concepts that have sprung from it. The first one, and the main focus of this slideshow is a TT Clubsport Turbo concept that draws inspiration from the 90 IMSA GTO race car.

Very delicious

The TT Clubsport Turbo, with it's bold and aggressive exterior features a turbo 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine that puts out 600 horsepower. With that type of boosted engine under the hood, the car is capable of hitting 62 mph in just 3.6-seconds with a top speed of almost 193 mph.

Tasteful styling upgrades

The second car, a TT RS, includes a two-way adjustable coilover suspension, upgraded brakes, chassis bracing, aero enhancements, and big 20-inch wheels. Other upgrades are Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, a chunky sport steering wheel, and carbon shift paddles.

Coming soon to a dealership somewhat near you

The aftermarket program is called the Audi Sport Performance Parts line and is slated to hit U.S. markets with offerings for the TT RS and R8 V10. The parts for those vehicles will be available at certain dealerships sometime in 2018. Pricing for specialty parts will be announced as the date to the program gets closer to release.

A winner indeed

A third car is present at Audi's SEMA booth this year, and that is a McCann Racing R8 LMS. Something interesting to note is that the street-legal road-going R8 shares half of its parts with the LMS sibling. The racing car made its debut in 2015 at Geneva and has had major success in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, Pirelli World Challenge, and 24 Hours Nürburgring.
