With SUV sales dominating the automotive marketplace it only makes sense that companies like Audi, Land Rover and Porsche are competing for their own space in a space that is overly abundant and saturated with choices. We’ll examine each car and see how they stack up against each other.
Porsche Macan
The Macan drives phenomenally well. It handles like a vehicle much smaller and packs 252bhp. However, if Porsche puts one more button on the center console you may be tempted to fix it with a sledgehammer. This car slots into the middle of the Audi and Range Rover in terms of cost but is an ergonomic nightmare on the inside. Without a doubt the best car to drive in the group.

Time to Choose
With all of the cars being fairly close together there is a straw hair between the Macan and SQ5. Most people will never drive on challenging enough roads to extract the monster grip and traction these cars can exhibit on gravel. If I had to pick it would be a blindfolded coin toss between the pioneers of Quattro and the genius minds at Porsche. Slight edge to the Audi for having more horsepower!
