H&R Brings Two Audi RS3 Sedans to SEMA

There are so many vehicles at SEMA that it really can make you pass out from sheer automotive overload. However, these two newcomers to our shores are welcome additions to the fray.

What do we have here?

With the RS3 Sedan finally, in the hands of domestic consumers, we've seen builds that range from mild to wild on the tuner front. The reason for so many being overjoyed at the prospects of having the RS3 Sedan is that it is the smallest and least expensive performance offering on the market. At the recently ended SEMA show, suspension company H&R brought along two fine examples of what a prospective owner could do should they decide to push things further.

Very subdued

This first one, painted in a deep muddied grey, gets the lowered treatment courtesy of a set of H&R coilovers which closes the wheel gap perfectly for a more aggressive stance. The sedan is also riding on a set of blacked out wheels that are sure to let the driver feel every nuance of the road for better or worse. Sprinkled out over the car are also a litany of carbon fiber bits such as the mirror caps and tasteful rear spoiler.

A car that Goldfinger would love

The second RS3 is the more flamboyant of the duo and makes quite the impression in 24K-like orangey gold. The aluminum R8 V10 Plus wheels give a calming effect to offset the gleaming paint that sits above it. The contrast in attitudes is very interesting here as we saw a more demure color with body mods while the more ostentatious painted car gets a more staid design.

Wide and low

H&R has a philosophy that they only want to manufacture the best suspension products by using the highest grade materials. That philosophy is what has helped the company reach the success they currently have as a trusted choice when it comes to suspension modifications.

No losers here

No matter which one you prefer, there isn't really a wrong way to go. Both of these cars are special in their own way and will subjectively appeal to people for various reasons. I'm sure as time goes by we will see more and more modifications using the RS3 sedan as a canvas.
