Welcome to the Future

Introducing the e-tron Room, Audi's interactive experience. Customers can play with robots, technology, and see the newest electric cars. Audi developed this room as a way for people to see the highlights of the all-electric e-tron line and thusly presents futuristic tech to folks.

Riddle me this, Batman, poor people have it, rich people need it if you eat it you die...what is it? Think you are up for solving riddles to find the good doctor because in order to escape you will have to do just that.

Do you think YOU could escape?

The answer is nothing.

This futuristic room was an '80s kid's wet dream. It appears to be a scene straight out of Tron with the blue and red lights everywhere. Teams of three to five people are placed in the office of a missing doctor. It is their responsibility to discover where he can be found. Faced with riddles, lasers, and robotic arms, each person must work together to escape.

Ummmmm...what is happening?!

The Audi E Tron line is the future of cars. These all-electric cars are the clean transportation this planet needs. Developed alongside the advertising agency DDB Spain, teams of three to five people are placed in the office of a doctor who has unexpectedly disappeared. By working together the team can gather clues to find out where he has gone.

Is there a doctor in the house?

These clues aren't found on rolled-up parchment paper or hidden hieroglyphs on the wall but robot arms, holograms, and projections of maps to aid members in the quest. The red and blue lights of the room not only give off nice retro-futurism vibes but also is a nod to the interior colors utilized by Audi and Volkswagen.

The robot apocalypse and lasers

Audi’s Marketing Director, Caíta Montserrat, explains how the e-tron room is going to work: "For almost an hour, the participants travel into the future, where they will have to use their logic to solve the different puzzles and work their way through a number of test drives, all with cutting-edge technology, which will be the only way of beating the challenge and being able to 'escape.' We think this is a fun way for the public to get to know the future of electric cars. A future which will become a reality next year with the Audi e-tron quattro, which will be equipped with cutting-edge,  100% electrically-powered technology, assuring driving distances of more than 500 kilometers. With the launching of this model in 2018, we will become one of the leading electrically-powered brands.”
