Weight Ratio

Not only does this car produce a staggering amount of power, it also has a staggering amount of weight loss. Tipping the scales at a hair over 3,000 pounds gives this car a power to weight that is capable of ripping a driver's face off and setting his organs a few inches back once the tires hook up.

Home Brew

The team’s YouTube blog (which will be provided below) has segments that open in what looks like some guys garage. As if one day they just woke up and decided to build one of the top level Time Attack cars in the country. Sami Sivonen who is the pilot and founder of the team has produced one of the highest level builds essentially operating from his garage. It’s a grassroots build on steroids.

Mouse Trap

In a YouTube video of the R8 roll racing, one of its competitors known as Mighty Mouse (a Honda CRX), gets destroyed the R8 in a straight line. However, Might Mouse has a weight advantage that has given it the edge in lap time. This R8 is going to have to be clever if it wants to exterminate Mighty Mouse!

Development Road

This build goes to show there is more to winning when the competition is high than just big horsepower, fat tires and throwing wings at a car. It will be interesting to see what measures the team takes to further develop the car and knock precious tenths off their lap times! We’ll keep up to date with this badass build in the future.
