Audi takes tremendous care to design cars that are thrilling, luxurious and blend just about any other adjectives you could ask for in a road car. It’s not an easy task to take something as great as the R8 and make it even better. So where do you start?

If absolute power corrupts absolutely, there is absolutely nothing wrong with piling it on with an Eaton TVS2300 supercharger. Power jumps to 800 bhp and torque finds a big boost to 523 lb-ft. When it comes to the costs involved this package is actually priced reasonably at $58,723. Hey, no one said speed was cheap.
Adding power is pretty useless if you don’t do something to compensate for it. MTM uses some aerodynamic devices that aren’t found on the standard R8 to keep everything calm under when the revs begin to climb. It’s a subtle touch that looks factory in a very nondescript way. Perfect for flying under the radar.
This car is insanely loud, but why shouldn’t it be? As you arrive in an 800 horsepower R8 the entire city should know it. Few engines sound like a proper V10 which makes this car one very desirable machine. Loud, mean and fast: MTM’s creation checks all the right boxes.
High-end exotica isn’t the only thing they tune. These guys specialize in RS3s as well and have turned their 2.5-liter five-cylinder into a rocket in its own right.
