Skier Jon Olsson's RS6 Wagon Replaces What Was Stolen and Burned

A couple of years ago, Swedish freeskier Jon Olsson's highly customized Audi RS 6 was internet famous thanks to its insane DTM-inspired look and the fact that it had more than 900 HP(!!!) under the hood. Olsson went on to sell the car but unfortunately, the car was stolen at gunpoint and later found burned to the ground. Saddened that the prized vehicle he spent hundreds of hours customizing was no more, he decided to come out with a second version of the wagon, aptly named “Project Phoenix”.

“Project Phoenix”

Upset that his much-beloved car was no more, Olsson vowed to "follow this build up with something just as good", and now he has. Aided by renowned Audi tuner ABT Sportsline, Olsson has unveiled his second Audi RS 6 wagon, appropriately named "Project Phoenix."

Jon Olsson's Original, Highly Customized Audi RS 6

As mentioned in the opening, Olsson’s highly-customized Audi RS 6 was wildly popular due to its unique look and incredible power. On this slide is an image of the car upon completion, and next to it was the state it was discovered in after its buyer was robbed of the vehicle.

Not as Powerful, But Still Plenty Strong

Olsson worked closely with the ABT team to put together this unique Audi that makes 725 HP and 679 lb-ft of torque.

Yes, it’s less powerful than the original, but it is impressive nonetheless. The custom build is based on ABT's limited-production RS 6+, which itself is based on the 605-hp RS 6 Performance.

You can tell by the smiles of Olsson and the team in the attached picture just how enjoyable the car’s ride truly is.

Other Noteworthy Upgrades

To complement the power upgrades, Project Phoenix is outfitted with a one-of-a-kind Two-Face-like black and white paint scheme split down the middle.

The car also got dark tinted headlights, a front lip, side skirts, mirror caps, fender vents, and rear spoiler all made of carbon fiber.
