At the famous Circuit of the Americas in picturesque Austin, Texas at the Audi Driving Experience, you can learn advanced skills behind the wheel from professional drivers who will push you to be the best driver you can be. Before you even begin, you will be able to choose which program you'd like to participate in for your trip. These programs range from the R8 exclusive where you will ONLY be piloting the mighty R8 for two days, off-track where you will be instructed while driving through the hills of Sonoma, and take on the track where you will drive a mix of cars offered through progressively harder routes to show the full potential of the lineup.   

Instructors

Audi spared no expense in the decorated driving instructors they gathered together to teach eager drivers the ins and outs of real driving. The range of instructors goes from notable up and comers in the racing world to grizzled veterans in order to give you every possible angle in various situations. Going through the list of drivers and their credentials can be intimidating to a novice driver, but enthusiasts remarked that everyone was welcoming and personable.

Classroom Instruction

There are numerous sessions in a classroom where techniques will be presented that you will then have to remember the basics of. Afterward, you will be unleashed onto the track to test your memory while putting rubber to asphalt. An instructor will be there with you to coach you through each step if needed. These instructors will mentor you until you have reached the point where mastery of each respective task has become almost second nature.

The Experience

The fact that you will be piloting some of the best machinery on the planet is a given, but did you take a moment to think of the people that you will become friends with that are also at the experience? These are people that you will bond with over the time spent in and out of the classroom. When you've had enough of high RPMs and race tracks you can venture out into Austin and enjoy the local food and nightlife.

So Many to Choose From

All course driving is done with Audi provided vehicles so as to keep from potentially harming your personal vehicle during the trip. Helmets with socks will also be provided to you so that Audi can maintain a level of safety for its instructors and guests during the events. Comfortable clothing is recommended so as not to hamper you from concentrating on what you came here to do; drive it as you've never driven before!
