Yellow Angel Award for A6
A special distinction for the Audi A6: the readers of ADAC Motorwelt voted the sporty executive saloon with the four-ring emblem their Car of the Year 2005 and awarded it the “Yellow Angel 2005”. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, took receipt of the award in Munich on Friday. This achievement is all the more notable for the fact that the Audi A6 emerged with a clear lead over its 55 German and international competitors from all vehicle categories in this challenging poll. The success of the Audi A6 stemmed from the proverbial “Vorsprung durch Technik”, the outstanding comfort, emotionally charged sporty design and superlative quality of this saloon. The A6 was voted top of this poll by the readers of Motorwelt, the magazine sent out by the ADAC to its 15 million members. The ADAC’s “Yellow Angel” adds to the already lengthy list of awards captured by the A6. This year is the first time that this award has been conferred. |
