Audi Reports August Sales Results Up 6.8% over August 2004
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Audi of America, Inc. reported August sales of 6,911, representing a 6.8 % increase when compared to August 2004 sales of 6,473. “We are pleased to see both the new Audi A4 and the new Audi A6 sales picking up significantly”, says Johan de Nysschen, Executive Vice President of Audi of America. “For the new Audi A6, which is 18.5 percent up over last August, this confirms the trend it has been showing this year. Sales for the A6 year-to-date are up 12.0 percent over 2004”. Year-to-date, Audi of America has sold 51,802 cars, up 0.7 percent over the same period in 2004.
