Hertz Expands ‘Prestige Collection’ With 9 New Models

PARK RIDGE, NJ — (MARKET WIRE) — 10/04/2005 — In a move to offer its customers an even broader selection of the best driving choices, Hertz has expanded its Hertz Prestige Collection with 9 new vehicle models from Audi, the A6 and A8L Quattro and S4 Cabriolet; the Cadillac STS; the Hummer H2; Infiniti, the QX56, the FX35 and the Q45; and the Land Rover LR3. As with all vehicles in the Hertz Prestige Collection, each can be specifically reserved and will be guaranteed to be available upon arrival.

New cars in the Hertz Prestige Collection include:

— The five-seat Audi A6 and A8L Quattro and the four-seat Audi S4
Cabriolet. Each vehicle features driver/ passenger airbags, all wheel
drive, antilock brakes, AM/FM/cassette/CD players, speed control and
luggage capacity ranging from 10.2 to 15.9 cubic feet. A tire inflation
monitor, navigation system, and a sunroof are exclusive to the A8L model,
while a power convertible top is available in the S4 model.

— The five-seat Cadillac STS features daytime running lights,
driver/passenger airbags and traction control as well as keyless entry and
ignition features.

— The five-seat, four-wheel drive Hummer H2 includes such special
features as daytime running lights, roof crossbars, remote keyless entry,
steering wheel controls, sunroof, traction control, AM/FM/CD 6-disc in-dash
changer, and 23.6 cubic feet of luggage capacity.

— The seven-seat Infiniti QX56, the five-seat Infiniti FX35 and Q45.
Each vehicle features driver/ passenger airbags, sunroofs, remote keyless
entry, steering wheel controls with audio and speed features, and
AM/FM/cassette/CD 6-disc in-dash changers. In addition, the Infiniti QX56
offers four-wheel drive, a luggage rack, privacy glass, remote keyless
entry, running boards and luggage capacity of 61.2 cubic feet. The Infiniti
FX35 features roof rails, all-wheel drive and luggage capacity of 27.4
cubic feet and the Infiniti Q45 features a tilt wheel with memory,
leather/heated/power front seats and luggage capacity of 13.6 cubic feet.

— The seven-seat, four-wheel drive Land Rover LR3 that provides
steering wheel controls, a sunroof, traction control, remote keyless entry,
AM/FM/CD 6-disc in-dash changer and 9.9 cubic feet of luggage capacity.

The added service components of the Hertz Prestige Collection program include reserving model-specific vehicles; complimentary NeverLost®, Hertz’ on-board navigational system or a manufacturer installed GPS system in all Prestige vehicles; dedicated, on-site staffing to answer questions about the vehicles and assist customers; free pick-up and return from suburban hotels and resorts within a 15-mile radius of Hertz Prestige Collection locations; and a one-year fee-waived membership in Hertz #1 Club Gold®.
