  • Ickx and Ekstrom at new Audi TT’s world premiere
  • Audi RS 4 new “company car” of the Audi DTM-Stars
  • Reamonn visits Martin Tomczyk in Audi’s garage

Vanina Ickx and Mattias Ekstrom were guests of honour at the new Audi TT’s world premiere in Berlin on Thursday night. Among the people the Belgian met at the event was her father Jacky Ickx. The six-time Le Mans winner is a testimonial in a film for the new TT Coupe.

For the Audi DTM stars, Thursday was a very special day: The Audi factory drivers received their new “company cars” from quattro GmbH at Hockenheim – nine 420-hp Audi RS 4 vehicles.

The new Audi TT can be seen at Hockenheim as well: One of the coupes is displayed in front of the Audi VIP Lounge in the paddock. This is where the new Audi A6 allroad quattro, the new S6 and the new S8 are being showcased as well.

The guests of AUDI AG can also marvel at the Audi R10 TDI at Hockenheim: The diesel-powered sportscar, which wrote a new chapter in motorsport history in the 12-hour race at Sebring in mid-March, is standing inside the Audi VIP Lounge, where the big Audi Race Party will be launched on Saturday night.

Between the warm-up and the race, Reamonn will be paying a visit to Audi factory driver Martin Tomczyk at the Audi team garage. The Irish-German cult band has written the new official DTM song, “Starting to live”.
