Audi Reports October Sales

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Audi of America, Inc. today reported that October 2006 sales totaled 6,431, a decrease of 3.4 percent compared to strong results a year ago. For the year, Audi sales are up 4.1 percent over the same period in 2005.

Consumers showed strong interest in the all-new Audi Q7 SUV and A8 models. Audi Q7 sales totaled 1,653 during October, bringing the year total to 5,663 since its launch in June. The A8 model line had 442 sales during October, a 12.5 percent increase over the same month last year.

Sales of Audi Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles rose during October and totaled 1,882, a 0.5 percent increase over last year. CPO sales for the year are 20,723, up 4.9 percent over the same period last year.
