How hard is it to install a turbo timer?

Pretty easy, just a bit disconcerting.

Something about taking out the console and cutting into your wiring harness....

It's easy, but i actually refuse to do it in friend's cars...

...over the years, i've read too many times on here of different electrical sh*t going wrong after someone installs a TT. Probably the installer not following the instructions to a "T", but still. After i installed mine...the little lights on all of the window buttons go out when i press the window up and down (??), who knows.

Pretty easy, But, worry more about rattles...

I installed a Greddy TT last weekend. Everything went ok and pretty easy. To avoid all the confusing the red wires, I tapped the 12V from my lighter since I was mounting it next to the hand brake. The hardest part was cutting the hole in the center console next to the hand brake....

The biggest problem I have is that once I took out the gauge cluster and put it back in, there's an annoying sticky-type squeak. And yes, I did follow the faq and use friction tape(from home depot) and kept my work as compact as possible. It could be that I'm just really anal when it comes to interior noise, but I swear it wasn't there before. I've been spending the last 2 days trying to figure out where it's coming from, and even drove with the cluster out (still plugged in), but I cant find the source of the noise. I'm about to give up and ask the dealer to take a look at it, but I'm concerned they'll blame it on my install (with good reason...)
