only 23g/s at 5000rpm, is my MAF bad?? 2-3g/s at idle.
|
Possibly...
is that WOT, or part throttle cruising?
DBW or non-DBW? |
this is a non-dbw and done at stand still reved to 5000rpm
|
then that's probably about right....
hit the highway, cruise along and see what kind of numbers you get. You can actually unplug the MAF, and the ECU will use it's own set of numbers. The numbers should match very closely with the MAF plugged in, and with it unplugged. You'll probably have to clear the CEL afterwards though
you can also datalog RPM and MAF on a WOT run. The MAF should steadily increase, and then level off in the higher RPMs. You should see a max of around 170 g/s if you're chipped. |
2/3 gs at idle seems a bit low. Is this a stock maf/housing?
You wont produce much g/s out of gear since the car has no load and is not producing any real boost.
