looks great! one question

I've always been told that when the stickers are missing under hood, on our car found on the black plastic above the radiator, that the car has been in a front end colission and that has been replaced. your car looks amazing btw.

Andy_FL 12-22-2004 12:02 PM

I don't know....

Could be that the '97 didn't have them to begin with, but I'm about 99.9% sure this car has never been in a major front end collision.

nice post...questions....

the injector orings...how was that job? I already purchased the orings...just havent had the time. did you do anything to the orings while they were out?

BTW, ive been collecting parts as well. Here's my planning page Most of whats there has been completed...some things like the orings havent been done, but i have the parts.

Cake.

The o-ring at the top of the injector will roll off easy, with your hands. The one at the bottom however, I had to use a small snip to cut it off as I couldn't get it to roll over the end of the injector. Luckily, the new one rolled over the bottom without a problem--and don't forget to moisten the new o-rings with a bit of motor oil.

cool thanks! what did you do to relieve the fuel pressure in the line?

just unhook it and allow it to spray out?

Andy_FL 12-22-2004 06:47 PM

Actually, nothing!

I kept waiting for fuel to spew out, but I only got a trickle when I unscrewed the line from the rail. YMMV.
