Yup, threaded. I use other sites in linear mode, but this site has always made more sense in threaded view from the old kawf days.

Actually, it doesn't matter which view you use if everyone finds the post they want to respond to and click "reply" at that post.

Ah, I just click "New Reply" which is at the bottom of the newest post in linear mode (where oldest is at the top of the page) That's why....ah ha!

Sorry to the OP for getting off topic...

Ah, that's the beaty of threaded view and the old kawf format. Things could get off topic in "side bars" without taking away from the thread. In linear mode, reader will have to scroll through our whole conversation, while in threaded view it could be easily ignored. ;-)

Im in Ann Arbor, its at the dealer now. I have a buddy who's a sales manager there, so hopefully it will at least get done right. I just don't have the time or tools out here to do it myself. Retrospectively, I could have just JB-welded it, but eventually would have had it fixed anyway.

Where is your friends shop? For future reference?

The main shop is In Detroit near the Northwestern Police station and the second near the I96/I94 interchange.
Good luck. Is the A4 at Howard Cooper? Also JB weld is not a good solution for most repairs, get it welded properly
or just buy a new oil pan.
