The last pic by far my favorite!! Regier RS4 front, V1 sides, and V2 rear.. The rear is a little low, but I'm getting used to it.. Other than harnesses/seats coming, I am done for a couple of months!!!! A big thanks to Jorge (Scuderia) for snapping these pics yesterday!!

Tongpo~Dr. Evil 10-15-2003 09:06 AM

H&R race/Neu Bils.

iNfiNkC 10-15-2003 09:08 AM

you put the sills back over the sides? how come? looks cleaner with out them

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:08 AM

Rather not....

I had them put them on these to prevent against scuffs, and as it is, i am lucky to have them on there becuase even I have donated a couple scuffs to them..

kenny (dremel) 10-15-2003 09:09 AM

z-flo fmic?

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:09 AM

SpyderSE2(movie man) 10-15-2003 09:12 AM

Looking good! anyway you can center the z flow?

Looks a bit odd being way at the top of the bumper.

kenny (dremel) 10-15-2003 09:13 AM

how you like it? i'm leaning towards the greddy...

Bah, decisions. And Christmas coming up!

paul_858 10-15-2003 09:14 AM

greddy is a quality kit for a very reasonable price.

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:14 AM

Not really

as it was, I had to get the pipes rewelded to fit behind the bumper, and I didn't want to start hacking away at the bumper.

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:14 AM

The Z-flo design is hard to beat.

iNfiNkC 10-15-2003 09:17 AM

should use some clear plastic protectant, like for front bumpers, or

SpyderSE2(movie man) 10-15-2003 09:17 AM

greddy=quality, but its a crappy kit. Half the intercooler sits uselessly covered by the bumper-

support. Not to mention you have to cut like have the bumper support off, so once you get it make sure u never get in a front end collision. Quality parts in a kit that unfortunatly sucks ass to mount.

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:17 AM

When I get some time I will, I'm just happy to have the kit on!!!

RedX311 10-15-2003 09:20 AM

sexy

chipstar-32 10-15-2003 09:24 AM

NICE nick!

looks good man

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:25 AM

thanks Chip!!!

yo man, you're still coming up on Saturday right?

Tongpo~Dr. Evil 10-15-2003 09:26 AM

how's the ride?! i know it's relative- but i'm looking to replace my eurosports/stockshocks

chipstar-32 10-15-2003 09:27 AM

yeah. what are you doing friday?

i might wanna come up friday night/afternoon and hang out with you. then we can go to jon's on sat??? i need to get away from cadets. i'll im you later. i dont wanna like invite myself though. but i do wanna check out your ride

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:28 AM

You can defiently feel the road with that setup

imo, not too rough for the street, it's perfect.. About 2" lower than a stock non-sport A4, a perfect height if you ask me.

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:28 AM

By all means man, come up!!!!!

SpyderSE2(movie man) 10-15-2003 09:30 AM

btw how long u been riding on the Kumho MXs?

Just wondering what you thought of em. I have had mine for a few thousand miles now. They are nice and soft, sticky in turns...im afraid that being as soft as they are is going to make them wear quickly. Hopefully i get 10k miles out of em!

Tongpo~Dr. Evil 10-15-2003 09:30 AM

that meaning your set up or my current setup?!

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:32 AM

I've been on them for about 5k now

yea, they are VERY sticky in the curves/turns.. They've held up to me abusing them in the canyons here around Boulder all summer, and they come back wanting more!!!

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:34 AM

My setup

I kinda like to feel the road though..

paul_858 10-15-2003 09:37 AM

agreed =) recently sent an email to greddy on the subject =P

kenny (dremel) 10-15-2003 09:47 AM

whoa, even with an s4 bumper on you still have to do some cutting??

Saturnine 10-15-2003 09:48 AM

You can easily lower it.

It just takes some time..

SpyderSE2(movie man) 10-15-2003 09:50 AM

Yes you do, unfortunatly

behind an S4 bumper is worse because its much more open. At least behind the A4 bumper it fills the space, on an S4 bumper it will look crammed to the top of it with a big empty space below. Im sure you could fab up some brackets and new pipes to lower it, but whats the point of buying the kit in the first place if you have to fab up new brackets and pipes?

kenny (dremel) 10-15-2003 09:54 AM

got any pics of the damage?

are you saying there's too much room between the FMIC and the bumper, or room from the bottom of the FMIC to the "bottom" of the bumper?

Sorry, not trying to confuse ya. The greddy unit looks sweet, but if it's going to be major pain in arse to install... well i'd probably end up buying it anyways. *roll* =)

dr.audios[the OG] 10-15-2003 09:56 AM

Without rebending all the IC pipes, you really can't

sure, you can hack away the bumper and have have it fit, but I'd rather not do that.. Plus only about 30-40% of the IC visibe is needed to be effective..

paul_858 10-15-2003 09:58 AM

enjoy

paul_858 10-15-2003 09:59 AM

i'd imagine having the maximum core cross section available to flowing incoming air would provide

better cooling. Sure partial is better than stock, but complete visibility to the moving air would be ideal.
