they are? They have 12 edges not 6

they look like the 12 pt torx, most common are only 6 pt. The 12 pt are much harder to find.

you can get a simple torx set at autozone for like ten bucks
i wouldnt waste my monet on the craftsman set

Yup, those are definitely triple square driver bits. Good luck finding them locally
Like others in here have said, I had trouble finding them in car parts or even sears hardware stores.
