Do the torx bits work on the 12 point bolts?

I checked one autozone...no luck

It must if WYSIWYG says so.
 

I've never seen him strip a bolt. ;-)

I want to try this...but it's the steering wheel and I don't want to mess this up

what size is the bolt ont he steering wheel....it says 8.8, but is that really a size?

He didn't say it would work...so far he's only said you can buy torx bits from strauss.

Drop one in, and see how it fits on the bolt.
 

Worse comes to worse, you strip the bolt and you buy another socket set to remove stripped bolts (you'll need them elsewhere anyway...bound to happen).

That's the bolt strength/grade indicator
 

the 12mm bit on the kit i linked below works. i've used it on my steering wheel
