Manufacturers numbers (taken w/ a grain of salt) I didn't know there wasn't

a chip for the 12V, sorry, my ignorance.

What u really get is disabling of the 135 MPH limiter.

And GIAC too? Question about mixing tip chip + performance chip...

I think GIAC makes not just a tip chip (to speed up tip shifts) but also makes a performance chip for the 2.8. (And if you get both, I think there may be a discount?) The performance gains are minor.

Is there any reason to believe the Wett, TAP or Neuspeed would be better? Or that getting both chips from GIAC would be better/safer? I'm planning to get both types of chips; even 8 HP improvement would be nice!

Also, I've seen at least one reference that the GIAC tip chip also improves the annoying "hunting" in automatic mode.
