Yeah, they also have kits for headlights & foglights that keep them from being broken by rocks.

Where can you get a regular bra? or car mask? Can't find any for 2002

Re: Clear Bra Again ...
I recently installed X-Pel's upper and lower paint protection film along with the headlamp and fog lamp film on my Silver A4.
If you are paintient it is really not that difficult to install. It is extremely forgiving and hard to mess up. I must admit, this is the 5th car that I have installed it on and it gets easier every time. I found my '02 A4 to actually be an easier install than my '98. I would post some pictures but it blends so well with the silver that it will not show up in photos. The only color I would not recommend it be installed on is white. I installed a kit on my wife's Highlander and it has a slight yellowish look to it. The nice thing about the paint film is that it can be removed at any time and will not harm the paint. 3M designed the film in such a way to allow UV rays to penetrate the film and allow the paint underneath to "weather" at the same rate as the unprotected paint. What about waxing and polishing?
Can you do all this to the film? Will it look different than the rest of the paint?
|
You just wax right over it ...

Re: You can remove it at any time with a heat gun with no damge to the paint.

Re: Where are u in co?
I'm in Denver. The dealership recommended Visual Effects...they are off of I-25 and Evans. I paid $225. I assume you're in CO too?
