On my 00 A6 that I just got the Navigation system is not working and I also noticed I do not see anything being displayed on the Information Display. I also also the navigation drive in the trunk does not power up. Could this be a fuse? Or does it need to be reprogrammed with a vag com? Also I tried several times to erase my airbag light with a vag-com and it appears to erase but comes back right away. Any ideas on this? I ran a vag-com and I get this Chassis Type: 4B - Audi A6 C5 Scan: 01,02,03,08,15,16,17,35,36,37,45,55,56,76 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 01: Engine Controller: 4B0 907 551 L Component: 2.7l V6/5VT G01 0004 Coding: 06652 Shop #: WSC 40104 1 Fault Found: 16805 - Warm Up Catalyst: Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold P0421 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent Readiness: 0000 0000 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 02: Auto Trans Controller: 4B0 927 156 BD Component: AG5 01V 2.7l5VT USA 3131 Coding: 00002 Shop #: WSC 00000 No fault code found. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 03: ABS Brakes Controller: 8E0 614 111 A Component: ABS/EDS 5.3 QUATTRO D10 Coding: 0273004284 Shop #: BB 24334 No fault code found. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 08: Auto HVAC Controller: รถ4B 082 004 Coding: 00160 Shop #: WSC 02325 Note: Excessive Comm Errors ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 15: Airbags Controller: 4B0 959 655 F Component: Airbag Front+Kopf 1002 Coding: 00306 Shop #: WSC 02325 1 Fault Found: 00588 - Airbag Igniter: Driver Side (N95) 32-00 - Resistance too High ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 16: Steering wheel Controller: 4B0 907 487 D Component: Lenkradelektronik D01 Coding: 00103 Shop #: WSC 65535 1 Fault Found: 01426 - Controls in Steering Wheel (E221) 49-00 - No Communications ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 17: Instruments Controller: 4B0 920 980 M Component: C5-KOMBIINSTR. Post this on the VAG forum also.. the Ross guys are helpful.. also check the fuses
and see if you can disconnect Nav module and reconnect it and run the VAG again.. as for your display looks like it has been switched off using the button on the wiper stick.. or it has gone bad.. or some loose connection behind the instrument cluster.. Did this just happen on its own or were you doing something?? Also STFA.. I did a search and found this.. take a look could solve the Airbag issue..<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/vag/msgs/6830.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/vag/msgs/6830.phtml</a</li></ul>
