Stoptech 355 kit with black calipers
I've got significant credit with a shop, and need to use it on something, after all.
I might change to a 332 kit, though. Need to measure the clearance with my stock 17" wheels and see if they will fit. If they do, I might go that route and put snow rubber on the 17s for winter use. If they don't clear, I'll stick with the 355 kit. As far as rotors are concerned, I know everyone says slotted is better than cross drilled, but I'll be darned if cross drilled rotors don't look hot. Too bad... |
*FALLING OVER* 355s!!!! SWEET... heh.. I have 355's on my V. =)
and 365's in the rear. =)
BTW, you need 18s to clear the 355. So that means.. get 18" winter wheels!! =)) You Baller you! |
you will need 18" or bigger I think for the 355's
|
That's right.
I run 18's normally, so that's not a problem. Just need to figure out how I want to handle my winter setup. I've already got a set of winter tires in 18, so...

I was also told that the stock IC's should be able to keep up.
|
I used Awe custom IC`s .( better design for the A6 if you dont mind a liitle cutting)
|
Yeah, ordered a set today...
The RS4 ICs seemed to be a pretty big pain in the ass to install, with lots of people (including installers) telling me about fitment issues.
Anyhow, put myself on the list for AWE IC's earlier today - should be in my hands by the end of April, and I'll be able to throw them in myself. How do you like yours? |
Tooo Cool, you are going to soooooo enjoy the extra boooost! You can get by with
the stock IC's, I wouldn't give it another thought. Wicked cool setup, bro! ;-)

I'm just jealous. Your car is going to be awesome
