Gus, it almost seems as though they are delaying on purpose(why, I dont have a clue) or they lost the order. It makes NO sense.

I had another thought. Did you order a "standard" color? The factory closes in August and I understand that after they reopen, almost any color will be available. Did they hold it up for color choice and FORGOT to mention it!!??

Thanks, Greenie. I did order the Northern Blue with a platinum interior. I DID ask for finger recognition, and a few of the options that are not currently available. To be fair, I did not give the impression I was in a hurry to get the car. Therefore, a processing error did occur, or this is indirect news that these options [frequently discussed on this forum], will be available soon. I am looking into this issue through my personal A8 advocate at AoA and my dealer, and will keep you posted.
