S8 FL 99' Fallen cluster needles (fuel, temp, tacho)

Hello. Few weeks ago I bought my first Audi. EU 1999 facelifted S8, not in the greatest condition. I have a problem (one of many haha, driver's door lock is broken and spinning for example) with my cluster needles, they seem to have fallen below their supposed positions (tacho, temp and fuel, speedo is fine). See the attached photo. The gauges seem to work, temp gets to around 50-60 when the car heats up. It looks like they are just moved. Should I just take the cluster apart and reset the needles manually? It seems that the cluster has been taken apart previously, because the tiny plastic round piece next to the tachometer is missing. Thanks.

I'd start with re-seating the connectors to the cluster. The "grid" plastic pieces conceal 2 hex head screws that are the only things holding the cluster it. Pop the covers, remove the screws and the cluster will come straight back toward you. Lower-extend the wheel first to give you more room to finesse it out.

Re-seating the conectors did not work. I ended up reseting needle's starting positions (like in this video:
) and I fixed it, works how its supposed to again. Thank you!
