suspension drops partially after shutdown
Anyone ever see this? When I shut the car off, I hear the right strut lose air and drop about 12 mm or so then stop. It can sit for a few days without dropping any further.
Upon startup, it raises to position again quickly and the pump runs maybe 5 seconds. That tells me the air tank is still full. Im thinking the check valve in the air valve controller may be sticking. |
My car (sports air) has done this since I bought it 7 years ago. It is quite normal.

If it doesn't release air after a long drive, you should be worried LOL

This is normal. It’s the suspension auto-leveling after there is no passenger weight in the car. It does it when you lock it/put the car to sleep. It’s not a leaking strut you’re hearing, it’s the suspension exhaust solenoid valve releasing air.

Ok so now I think I have another problem.
The driver side does not go down when parked.... Or maybe its just my fat body weight! |
