Isolated incident from a few years back.

travelled 5 x since then..no problems..
 

But now I simply pack my keys in my carry on so I don't have to empty my pockets at the scanner.

Ollllllld news... I've carried mine through many times since then, even in DC airports
 

and besides, can you every believe anything the NYT reports? :P

twice my wife and I were stopped, once an armed guard was called over for my "switchblade"

Ditto, then again it's NYT, oh well.
