Default travelled 5 x since then..no problems..
But now I simply pack my keys in my carry on so I don't have to empty my pockets at the scanner.

Default Ollllllld news... I've carried mine through many times since then, even in DC airports
and besides, can you every believe anything the NYT reports? :P
