My wife drives hers only in the city in stop go situations, she averages 14 -16, and yes, she's a bit of a leadfoot. On the odd longer trip we've taken I've seen as high as 22, but it's usually right at 20.......

BTW, she absolutely loves her Allroad and we can't even begin to think of something to replace it with, given how expensive new cars (and Audis in particular) have gotten, so our plane is just to keep it for another 5 years or more.

At that time it will still have less than 100K on it, so I'm hoping it will hold up well. so far (42K) so good, no repairs of any kind since we bought it used with 9k on it.

Oops...apologies for my earlier comment...I see now this is the car you are considering.

This retail price sounds reasonable...I'm guessing the TB has not been replaced and possibly reduced for that. That job is definitely $1K+ plus at an fairly priced indy plus 90K interval calls for full tune-up including plug replacements, etc.

As hinted by mjposner there are probably much better ones out there for same or less -- and I'm guessing with less problems and probably more "goodies" such as chip, upgrades, etc. Plus here in NC you don't pay sales tax on a private sell. Research and look around before investing as these are very expensive cars to maintain - being a DIY will help you for sure. There have been numerous postings on here about the AR's weakenesses and areas of concern. Page back and find all you can - it will be worth educating yourself. Good luck.

Well of course not ALL of them, imagine the law suits then...

But they do seem to have an awfully high fail rate

One possibility is that the TC failure damaged the Tranny. The TC failed 125 miles from home so I drove with the warning light on back home.

Hey, mind if I ask which warranty co you used? I remember you mentioned in a different post, but can't remember the name. I was looking to warranty mine, but once I passed the 50k mark, the pricing skyrocketed
