Anyone order a 2024 yet?
Live in Canada and learned that 2024 allotment available for order. Estimated June/July delivery.
Anyone order one yet? |
There is no US build guide yet, and I don't expect to see one before April. If that ends up being the case, US deliveries probably won't begin until Q4 2023.
|
No, but definitely would like to when it's possible. Anyone know if we can order in the US yet?

Hello,
I have already placed an order for a Q8 e-tron sportback since last December at a dealership in Montreal (I'm the first). I have attached the Canadian ordering guide for this model. You notice that there is only one version with option groups. I do not yet have a precise date of manufacture or delivery. |

Very Cool! What colour/wheel combinations did you go with? Were you able to see better images of wheels and new colours any where?
|
Very interesting... no more Technik trim, but option packages instead.
By any chance do you have the guide for the non-sportback? |

Which dealer in Montreal? I had a horrible experience at Audi St-Laurent last summer (related in another thread on this forum) and hoping to find a better one if I decide on getting the Q8 (it's still fairly high on my list).

So if the Canadian MSRP is CAD$95k, does that mean that in the US it'll be around USD$75k?

I'm happy with my 2022 for now. I don't think the 2024 is enough of an improvement for me to want to upgrade this year. Hopefully a new platform will be available in 2025-26. I'm hoping for something a little bigger with a range of 300+ with me driving. |
Yes, I'm also in Canada and was contacted by my dealer at the beginning of the year, starting that they had the MY24 order guide.
Stoked about the ability to order features piecewise: this is really nice. Order has been placed, but as others have said no confirmed delivery date other than "summer 2023…" |

Canada doesn't get Premium Plus or Prestige?

Canadian cars also came spec'd a bit differently: I think every car had the cold weather package and heated steering wheel. For the introduction of the MY24 e-tron, it seems like Audi Canada picked the most popular options that the market would want and just made them available piecewise to the base model. So, you can order "premium" or "prestige" or most anything in between, though I don't think ALL options are included (e.g. there are only 4 wheel options where we're seeing additional options in the EU) and there is no "S-Line", though there is a separate black optics package. |

I'm still pretty happy with my 2019, I just want the bigger battery in the '24 so I can get a couple dozen more miles when towing. And I wouldn't mind the facelift either. Do we have any kind of confidence in what the '25 will be? Will that be the new platform with the all new Linux-based MMI that fixes all the bugs (and adds a thousand new ones)?

I agree. My lease is up in May. Right now I'm inclined to buy out the lease and hold onto the car for another year or two, until Audi gets its act together or BMW decides to do plastic surgery on the i series.
My guess would be: E-tron facelift from (calendar year) 2023 - 2025: 3 years minimum, maybe 4 years. New EV specific platform Q8 e-tron launched in 2026 as a MY26 / MY27 (MY26 for EU / MY27 for those of us in N. America). Real question will be what happens to the car and does it get bloated in size like the Q8 is or does it stay in it's relatively unique current crossover size... |

The main point was that I think only one or two years of facelift will be too little, but I honestly have no more of a clue than anyone else here... |

You will probably be pleasantly surprised at the lease buy-out number. My ‘19 Prestige cost me $40,400 which for the low miles, (27K) and in excellent condition I leaped on. This was two months before lease termination.

Good to hear. I'm planning to schedule a meeting with the Audi lease folk sometime this month.
Here in KS there is no requirement to have to do this at an Audi dealership which made it so simple. I’m assuming OR mandates you need to visit an Audi dealer? |

I was able to take care of everything with a brief phone call to AFS. Told them I wanted to buy out the lease; paperwork received about 10 days later; Fedex’d it back and had the payoff documents about 2 weeks later. Then off to the DMV.

That about OR, I do not know. This is my first leased car and so would be the first "buy out" I would execute. I plan to look over all the options Audi has.
Good luck |

My SA in Central Florida doesn't see any Q8 e-trons coming into the US yet. He can't check Canada. Probably be a big price increase from the current model.

In Canada price increases are pretty small - a few % points perhaps... |
Audi of America Model Year 2024 Order Guide for Audi Q8 e-tron
1 Attachment(s)
My local dealer emailed me this.
You can start ordering them, but they asked me for a $2000 deposit, and they couldn't provide me with the pricing of the vehicle. If I compare it with the Canadian version, I can imagine how much it might cost. But the options are different all along. |
Still looking for the DOG for the 2024 USA SQ8

Just Ordered
I live in the the US and just put an order in using the US dealer guide he sent me. The dealer told me build in May with delivery in mid-late summer. He said prices are like to be 1-3% higher than current model. We’ll see…

Just received a form letter from my dealer offering to replace my 2019 Prestige with a 2023 MY Chronos Quattro for the low, low price of only $47K. "And if you call in the next 10 minutes, we'll send you a second Chronos Quattro absolutely free, just pay the shipping and handling".
