Ugh!
I have had the same issue with my charger since I bought my car. I have an appointment to take my car in to be “looked at”. I have been on the dealer about this since I bought it. They wanted to get me an accessory that would keep the phone centered. That is not the issue. I can be parked and I still have the same issue. It happens if I am sitting in my driveway. I was just wondering if you got this issued fixed and what they did to fix it. Thanks!

Take your phone out of your case and make sure the back is to the driver's seat, see if it works then. A number of phone cases will block the wireless charge feature, especially if there are any magnets in the case. I suspect when you take the phone out of its case it will charge fine and you will have to find a non-interfering case.

Why not plug it in and be done with it. Dealers mess up
your cars up with scratches and other bs. I rather just plug in than mess with the dealer. |
Multiple phones, without cases have been tried. My friend has the exact same car and my phone charges in there without any issues. Just wondering if this person ever got theirs fixed by the dealer.

Anyone ever get a fix from the dealer on this?

I was having issues with the phone charging in the center console, changed cases to one that is charging-friendly and now it works well.

New to the eTron group (B5 A4, B9 A4, MKII Q5).
Just picked up my eTron and on the ride back I noticed the exact same thing with my iPhone 11 Pro- starts to charge and then, it stops. I certainly hope that it was the large magnet that I put between the case and iphone that was blocking the contact. I relocated the magnet to see if that will make a difference. I already experienced #AudieTronLightbarGate before even driving it- except for take delivery. Will report back after next drive. |
You have a magnet in your case then its not going to charge.

iPhone 11 Pro here works flawlessly for wireless charging.
that magnet is going to be the problem. |
