I've seen dynos on both the hub and at wheels (a few of which were at ATP) hence my
using ~ and a range. As usual, one can't easily compare numbers between dynos and, again as usual, there seems to be a raging debate everytime one tries to discuss the delta between wheels and hubs. From looking at different dynos (and taking into account the potentail difference from car to car let alone dyno to dyno ... I'd WAG that a difference of 3-5% less loss on a hubs pull than a (properly set up) wheel pull would be in the realm.

Re: Yea I was thinking right about the same with about 5% diff.

BTW .. APR hasn't had the 4 Hub dyno all that long. IIRC the kit was developed using a two wheel
dyno with some 'trick' in dealing with the quattro. I read an account of how another shop dealt with an awd car on a two wheel dyno but I've forgotten what the 'trick' is.
