2014 Q5 Pricing Thread - Invoice pricing - APR Rates - Discounts
I was thinking it would be easier to have 1 thread just for pricing. I went through the Order thread and it was really hard to find pricing and what people have paid...
One reason I bring this thread up is because I want to know that I am getting a decent deal. A friend of mine just purchased a 2014 A4 from the same dealer for 1k BELOW invoice + 600 dealer fee. Only post here if you are comfortable with Saying how much you paid and what configuration you got, any discounts and dealer fee's and general location(state). So I'll start currently I have the following on order: P+ Glacier White / Chestnut Brown Options: PNY/WQB/PQX/VK/Y1/TH Pricing currently talked about(not 100% finalized, only put down deposit and the order has been placed) Invoice pricing(7% below MSRP) + 600 dollar dealer fee. Other posts's I have seen where people discuss their pricing and other discounts available to the community:

My dealer would not budge from the 5%, cuz they said that price will already be cheaper than what they would normally sell it for, plus on top of that they would need to do more work to set up ED.

Same story here: in case of ED, it's MSRP minus 5%. I ordered a TDI in week #22, will pick up in Ingolstadt week #37. The dealer wouldn't budge even though I've been a customer for decades. They may throw in an accessory such as floor mats for you.
Alatsacto has it right - you better hurry if you're shooting for ED before summer's end. Warranty Pricing:

my wife's work qualified us for the audi supplier program, which is the same 6% off msrp as ACNA members. to my surprise, no additional dealer charges were tacked on (MAC/advertisement, prep, etc.) - just taxes, title, registration, i think.
audi financial services isn't offering good rates right now. i signed up for and was able to get 60 months at 1.74% thru penfed. my sales associate checked with banks that the dealership had relationships with and got me the same rate thru bank of america. so after just a few signatures, i was able to drive on home. |

finance rates
I know Audi was offering the 1.9% on TDI's, but told my dealer I was going to go with AAA @ 1.74% unless he could beat it. I picked my car up last week and dealer's finance mngr was able to get me 1.39% for 48 months through Wells Fargo. He commented to me that bigger dealerships are able to get access to better rates that aren't publicized on-line.

PenFed is currently 1.99% up to 60 mos
I think it was 1.74% just a few weeks ago, which is too bad as my car's not here yet. Anyway, PenFed is one of the best in the business so keep them in mind over time. You can become a member for signing up for their newsletter ($25 one time, IIRC) or if you have a variety of armed forces associations.
https://www.penfed.org/New-Auto-Loan/ Happy to see Audi do 1.9% on TDIs. Kinda surprising since VW seems to exclude TDI from many of their deals. I guess with Audi since 4 of the 5 TDIs they offer this year are brand new to the market, they want to promote them, where as with VW they are well known and in high demand already. Thanks for this post, good to know I can get 1.9% on my TDI from Audi. I can always refi with PenFed if it drops later. |
