Apparently these tires are a fairly new design from Pirelli, but have good initial ratings from TireRack. And only $220 to boot (compared to the more expensive Verdes in 255/40R21 OE size with no treadlife warranty and worse ratings).

I used to hate Pirellis, but I previously had a good experience with the Verde All Season+ so hoping these will hold up well.

Just an update after 5 months: the Pirelli Zero All-Season+ tires have been fantastic in fair weather, light snow, and rain. Tire noise is minimal, comfort is good, traction is great - albeit without the same sharpness as summers (but that’s to be expected). Highly recommended for all-season 21s.

A lot of all-season tires have come a long way and in most states that don't get pounded with snow like us in Upstate NY they work just fine year round. Conti DWS06/Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+/Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S+ are some of the best all season tires out there. I will note that especially in snowy conditions, you typically want taller/narrower tires to navigate safely. With a 20-21" rim, you usually are buying wider/smaller sidewall tires however. For me switching back and forth every 6 months from my 19" winter setup and 20" summer setup is really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Plus my tires last longer on both sets and allows me to drive with confidence during each season.
