Eventually, production of every car is stopped but the RS4 will be produced in '08.

Pros:
- great reviews
- sales better than anticipated
- planned 2 year US production run
- new Audi Exclusive options in '08
- etc, etc.

Cons:
- RS4 is as fast as the new halo car, the R8

may it be true!!!! how wonderful would that be!

Parts may be more expensive in the long run, but I am cool either way.

A limited batch of '08 models will be produced, but......
 

actual production will end by late '07. This was always the plan. No surprise whatsoever.

Barrett Jackson here we come; that is, in about forty years ;-)

I have always dreamt of a brilliant black RS4 with blk leather/blk alcantara.

Yeah it will end production like the B5 RS4 did until the B7 came along...then the B8... and so on.
 

I suppose it's possible they'll skip the B8 if the B9 is only a facelift again like from the B6 to the B7. But they are not saying they'll never make another RS4 ever again.
