Think people, think!

The car itself is not a few months old, its far older when you consider Europe.

By and large its the same exact car, so when the Audi specialist is talking about how very few RS4s have had issues, he's also including Europe.

If an engine in an RS4 is going to have trouble, it probably will have trouble in both countries. This is probably even more true of parts like O2 sensors, which are from a distributor, and not made by Audi.

Re: You were smart to butter them up. Wait until you have the car back to ask AOA

Good luck with that. I purchased an RS4 and it's been in the dealer waiting for the "german techs" and parts for two weeks now. I won't deal with Audi anymore. They have opened the car twice and still can't fix it. They will deal with my lawyer now. Everybody has given me a different story. The car overheated the first time I drove it. That was the only time I got to drive it. They got my money and my car. I don't want it anymore.

What dealer? What exactly was the problem you encountered that led you to bring it in?

Sorry to hear about this. I have to admit that this incident has seriously dampened my excitement over my new car but I'm hoping to have that revived once I receive it back.

I am an Audi fan though and can overlook it.

The car overheated the first time I drove it.I can't say since it's in the hands of my lawyer. But these people are unbelievable. It's been two weeks of lies. They told me that some tech from Germany didn't wan't the local dealer fixing the car. Then that it was a sensor, not a big problem. Then that the german tech ok'd the local dealer to fix the car, but they couldn't. Then they ordered more parts. This thing is driving me crazy. I don't want the car. I want my money and they want me to take the car back and they can't find what the problem is. Good luck with your problem. Don't let them give you the runaround like they did to me.

Glad to hear everything is on the way toward resolution.

The good times are worth a few inconveniences. It's just a damn shame it happened to you so early on.
