Ok, so you wanna know the details......................
I can't provide much because some might accuse (this guy I know) of street racing. You see he has a Daytona Gray RS4 just like mine so I don't want to catch any flak for his irresponsible actions. I also wouldn't want to tarnish our reputation in the Audi community. (Even though HE couldn't give a sh!t).
He confided in me this afternoon. I don't want to abuse his trust so I can't give his location or his board name. So with some prying he tells me. He didn't buy the car because it was fast in fact he didn't even know it was fast when he ordered the darn thing. He just thought it was sharp and liked the four ring brand. Next thing you know all of these aggressive types in sports cars are always trying to race him. So what do you want him to do, he's just human and THEY keep wanting to race. Now he's never done that sort of thing before but this guy kept pestering him. The street had NO traffic and no cross streets. It was a perfect opportunity to race (for the first time of course) as he doesn't believe in that sort of thing. (Did I say that already?) So here is this brand new Vette (obviously not a ZO6) and he's thinking I CAN'T do this. Then he tells me all of a sudden he heard a (Pop) and this little devil appeared on his left shoulder and a little angel appeared on his right. Just like that scene in Animal House. The devil says race him, race him now! So from a roll at about 20 he punches it and the angel flies out of the sun roof and it's all over before you know it. He easily walked past the Vette, almost too easy, though he could tell the Vette tried his best.
He went back looking for the angel but somebody had run over the little bastard.
Fu<k it, the little devil is more fun anyway!;-)
