Re: No offense, but if you're not sure between those, you shouldn't be getting an S4
Exactly. I ask because I have learned from experience that comparison test drives do not tell you everything. It is impossible to know the real differences in two cars from test drives. You only get to know and understand a car after some lengthy seat time. Divergent views on a board like this are quite helpful in addition to test drives.

Want a back seat? Get the A6
Otherwise, for more sporty driving, get the S4.
And if you can't figure that out yourself, you shouldn't even be buying an Audi. |
I don't agree with that.
10 minutes in any car is enough for me to determine if I'm going to buy it.
|
You mean you have never owned a car
that became less and less comfortable or inspiring after driving it for a while? Only the really good cars can keep your interest over the long term. I simply cannot always tell in a test drive whether a car is such a car.
|
Give me a call. I have both cars.
|
Yeah, Bob has only had *really good cars*. I admittedly have purchased
cars without a ton of seat time as well. I bought one car without any seat time once. Just ordered it and trusted it would be a good car. It was.
|
Do they have some kind of test to decide if it's true or not?
|
Tossability or comfort - simple as that.
A6 4.2 is a sporty sedan, not a sports sedan.
