What is the Sirius module (the one in the trunk) worth?
Would you like to trade for XM?
no thanks, just curious what it's worth
Sirius gives them to you for free when you sign up.
I don't see how Sirius could possibly give away Audi radio modules.
When I signed up, the Sirius tuner was free with subscription...the only thing...
I had to buy was the antenna, and pay for the service, the tuner was 100% free. Of course, you need a radio which is Sirius-ready, but the actual Sirius tuner that goes in my trunk was free. If anyone paid for it, you got owned.
So why is everyone here trying to trade their XM units for Sirius units, when according to you, they
are free?
I didn't get SAT in my car...how much to add?
would it be free from Sirius?
How much to buy? |
Because the tuner modules are specific to the manufacturer of the
car's stereo. (i.e. whoever makes Audi head units). If your car came with one or the other, why wouldn't you trade with someone? FROM AUDI, I'm sure you have to pay for the tuner.
All I know is that when I signed up for it (which was 2 years ago roughly), I bought my Kenwood DDX-7015 double din DVD player, and and antenna for the Sirius, that's it. I was told that there was no charge for the tuner. What Audi charges, or whether Sirius NOW charges for it is not my concern. |
