What is the Sirius module (the one in the trunk) worth?
#6
When I signed up, the Sirius tuner was free with subscription...the only thing...
I had to buy was the antenna, and pay for the service, the tuner was 100% free. Of course, you need a radio which is Sirius-ready, but the actual Sirius tuner that goes in my trunk was free. If anyone paid for it, you got owned.

Because the tuner modules are specific to the manufacturer of the
car's stereo. (i.e. whoever makes Audi head units). If your car came with one or the other, why wouldn't you trade with someone? FROM AUDI, I'm sure you have to pay for the tuner.
All I know is that when I signed up for it (which was 2 years ago roughly), I bought my Kenwood DDX-7015 double din DVD player, and and antenna for the Sirius, that's it. I was told that there was no charge for the tuner. What Audi charges, or whether Sirius NOW charges for it is not my concern.
