any updates on Tials?? how are those running now??
not trying to start anything just seeing how they are doing and what not....so let me know guys...
We'll we're making more power then 60lb's and one 044 can support.... More soon.
now that's a tease!
:)
That is what I like to hear. Any plans on a larger injector/fuel pump set-up?
I'd assume so...
once the green to white technology is ironed out.
2.6 FATS w/ clutch slip and fuel limited tune...

This is a 3800lb+ widebody car with 265/35/18's.
....
more power then optimus prime?
hmm, have you heard about the other tial kit? r580 or something?
....
Its a cup, now a mug.
-92 oct pump gas + WI.
hmm, and built bottom end?? and nothing on the other tial kit?
....
fat ass broke a chair? Why not?
...it's the 520, and is a journal bearing little brother to the 650 kit.
care to take this to email for a little bit, i know its a HUGE SECRET RIGHT NOW, lol
or if ya want, can you tell me about this r580 kit.
...nothing secret about it, it flows less and is more affordable.
Not even really sure that it's 'officially' available as it was one of the development iterations of the larger kit.
not yet, just trying to figure it out. (rs6 or tial r520 kit)
what would you guys go with.
We'd spend more and get the R650....=p
I don't have experience with the 520 kit so I can't definitively say either way. I can tell you that you get a warranty with a TiAL product and the boost response and overall power output should be similiar...
the tial r520 kit is suppose to be a low cost replacement
for the k04s or rs6s...ive been told they would compare better then rs6 hybrids...just wanted to know if all the issues with the r650 kit are figured out..and i shouldnt worry about the r520 kit...price difference is quiet a pretty penny.
I think they compare to straight RS6's, not hybrids, and yes...
the ONE issue has been resolved with the R650 kit and it is performing VERY well.
I think with proper tuning the 520's will prove to be good value. |
hmm, so would you go with rs6 or tial r520...i have a better chance of
yielding more power from the tials then rs6's dont i??
I think the r520's were a replacement for RS4 k04's... not RS6's.
And last I heard they weren't being produced... not enough interest.
Go with RS6's or the R650's if you want more powers. |
boost profile? logs? usual questions when posting #s like this etc
theres a big price jump from rs6 to tials
rs6 2900
tune 400-500 60lbs injectors 250-300 3800 for rs6 kit or 3xxx for tial r520 and last i heard they are being made. just debating what would be better |
Over 30psi.

what did you hook up to the tip buttons on your steering wheel?
ROFL! WTF is that? Did you draw that your self? I love how it starts before the graph.
Get a Zeitronix so we can see a real graph.
RS6s. the 520s don't flow much more than K04s
unless they've changed out the wheels in the 520s.
Looks to me like it's just the output from an electronic boost gauge sensor...
Are only Zeitronix boost sensors valid??????
now that's some serious boost!:)
Are you Ok? - not a real graph?
If you have any questions. Dont hesitate to write or call.

CSV download from dyno sensor.
Pretty sure a lab grade 5 bar sensor output off the Mustang Dyno works, no?
Thank you for clearing that up Tim. Yes, the 520's are ment to be a K04 alternative.
With a bit more top end, and more exhaust flow.
22 psi operating range. |
Whats the pricing like on the 520's??
the price is set by the tuner. That being said, its ment to be a k04 alternative, and the price will
reflect that.
uh. you will note the leftmost green triangle's center is well within the graph.
it's a bigger icon than the purple and blue diamond icons.
use your big boy voice. |
Is that on a 2.7L? And stock manifolds?
DAAAANG :) :)
The clutch slipping will actually improve your fats time seeings the motor will be revving freely
Not sure how a slipping clutch hurts your fats times and not helps it. Without mentioning and names someone we all no thought that Alex's car had a slipping clutch to achieve his times even though there's no spinning or clutch slip that's wy he recorded the run..
i don't think that's the point he's hinting at with that comment
