I am going to be buying a stage 4 CM clutch very soon. One question.
I see there is a 4 puck and a 6 puck. I know the 4 puck is more aggressive. Whats the difference/ best for stage 3 A6 1/4mile tracked about 10x a year?

6 puck is probably what you want. You know neither of those will work with a stock flywheel right?
You have to get the CM lwfw (or I think vast offers a lwfw with countersunk holes that *should* work as well) otherwise there is a clearance issue with the crank/flywheel bolts.

I actually found someone that will sell me a lwfw. I was going to...
Get mine resurfaced but it scares me a little. I am going to buy the used FW which I was already told it should work.
I also just ordered an new replacement surface to throw on it. |
Careful though. Any fw will work with the stage 3/4 (also called a segmented stage 4)
But the 4/6 puck stage 4 is different. I'd hate to see you have everything installed only to find out it doesn't work, necessitating another trans pull...

Thanks. I will now be placing more phone calls. I really appreciate the heads up!

I just got off the phone with CM and.....
He said I will be fine. Its a Aasco flywheel so it should be ok. Thanks again.
