I just read a Tech article "Adjusting Xenon's after Lowering" and now I have

a question. If I put on a coilover suspension and lower the car, say 1.5" all around, do I have to worry about adjusting my headlights?

possibility. the susp will settle and you may have to readjust.

a few degrees will make a huge difference 1/8mile down the road.

Yes, but just do it yourself with the white adjustments supplied.

I'm considering never to post on AW again.

I have variable height HID's.

With my own controller.

If it lowers evenly, you'll be fine. Many suspensions don't.

My Intrax setup lowered the rear a bit more than the front, and I had to adjust mine.

I did them in a parking lot pointing at the side of a building, tweaked them until I thought it was a decent light spread, and then lowered them over time until I didn't get flashed very often.

They're still probably higher than they should be, but I can see well, and I don't really give a crap about anyone else anyway.

Thanks. Now, it's a VAG adjustment - no mech. adj.?
