Ant and Mark always claimed that clutch was the limiting factor IIRC.

You sure they aren't just "AWE K16s" aka K04/RS6 hybrids with clipped t-wheels?

Todeshandler 01-23-2005 08:43 PM

Could very well be. Just quoting what turbos he lists in the shootout article.

PSmalls::DoggieStyle 01-23-2005 08:45 PM

Every picture I've seen of "AWE K16s" have been RS6 hybrids with some clipping.

I am on the next page :)

Bullet weighing at least 300 lbs lighter than me and crap load of hardware more than me. I was on Stage 3 AWE. Nothing more. Bullet 245 Hoosiers. Me - 225 Nitto NeoGENS. Bullet 12.39; Ari -12.55. Anyway - hats off to the Bullet but just note taht LACR is brutal and s**tty.

We are looking forward to the Yellow Nightmare project to be the undisputed heavyweight champs :)

http://toasthost.com/achtuning/gallery/album14/S4_Shootout_P13</a

Hmm, maybe he changed since the slip 3 years ago. Back then they listed normal K04s....

Not trying to argue anything, just giving credit where it was due....

I'm very impressed with Ari's trap speed. While thinking about trap speeds, I was reminded of SlvrBullets. When I looked at the slip, I was kinda surprised it's been almost 3 years since that's happened. Time has flown bye. I recall when it was so amazing that an S4 could run 11's. Obviously, a lot of cars have come a long way since then... yet even with all of that, his trap speed still stands by a decent margin. (Yes, I'll take it under consideration that some tracks are slower, but there's plenty of tracks around the country where no one else has come close).

Wasn't arguing one car vs another, just giving credit to another AWE car that has had a long standing record during a time while many cars have emerged being faster than they once were.

Ok ;)
